Hipster

Hipster is a term from the 1940's which originally meant jazz lovers. They would dress, use drugs, have a relaxed attitude and a sarcastic humor like a jazz musician. Today, we use the term hipster to name people that value independent thinking, counter-culture, progressive politics, an appreciation of art and indie-rock, creativity and intelligence. They wear clothes that aren't mainstream.

Hipsters wear vintage and thrift store inspired fashions, tight-fitting jeans, old-school sneakers, and sometimes thick rimmed glasses. Both hipster men and women sport similar androgynous hair styles that include combinations of messy haircut. Miley Cyrus, an American singer and actress, is one of the rarely celebrity who adopted this style. She has an edgy look that we can relate to the grunge and rock style. She wears a lot of camo jacket, Dr. Martens boots, high knee socks and black tight crop top from American Apparel. I really like her style and i get often inspired by hey outfits.

 Stores like American Apparel and Urban Outfitters are associated to the hipster style. Zoe Kravitz is an American actress and singer. She's one of the few celebrities who have a hipster style. Her look is whether edgy, boho, chic or the three combine together. She likes to wear round glasses like we can see in the first outfit at the right and all kinds of hats like beanies or normal black hats. I really like the first outfit. It's something i would definitely wear on a casual day. The mix of vintage and rock make this hipster look different from any other outfits. I have already seen Miley Cyrus wearing something really similar to the outfit in the middle. I think it's simple and so pretty.
