Marios Schwab
Marios Schwab really likes to add his Greek heritage into his clothes. His inspiration for this Spring 2013 Ready-To-Wear collection was Greek fashion and bees. He said backstage: "I've always been mesmerized by bees". I will present my favorite looks.
The outfits of this runway show reminded me of a mix between native american because of the shoes and the hair and of bees because of the clothes. I find the looks 5 and 7 exotic and they're my favorites in this collection. The dresses are simple but the details at the top make them different from other dresses. I personally prefer the white one because i think it's more elegant and the color is more flattering for this kind of dress. I also prefer the top details of the white dress than the black ones. I would never wear this kind of shoes. It's to extravagant for me and i don't really find them pretty, but when the sandals are worn with these two dresses, it look pretty and the outfit wouldn't have that look and it wouldn't be that pretty if the shoes weren't wild like this.
I chose these outfits not because i would want to wear them or because i found them pretty. I chose them because i found them innovative and different. The sweater of the look 16 is like a honeycomb. The fact that it's transparent at the top and then some cases start to be opaque is something never seen and to be inspired by bees make Marios Schwab stands out of the other designers. Then the look 21 is also original. It's a reinvented peplum top. The pattern at the front is weird but it works nevertheless with the outfit. If the shoes wouldn't have been there, the desired look wouldn't have work.
