There's the rock chic where you wear dresses and a lot of makeup and there's the rock hard where you wear things like motorcycle boots.
Joan Jett became at the age of fifteen the co founder of the rock band The Runaways. In 1982, with her band Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, she made the track I Love Rock N' Roll come alive. She has now eight albums and she's the perfect fashion icon for the grunge style.
In the closet of a grunge and rock person, you found leather jacket, band t-shirt, tank top, crop top, skinny jeans or leggings, miniskirt, jumpsuit, body, corset, motorcycle boots, thigh high heels, studs, etc. Sky Ferreira is an American singer, songwriter, model, and actress. She's the first celebrity that came to my mind when i thought about rock style. She always wear her black combat boots like in all the pictures to the left. I have rarely seen her without them. I absolutely want her dog t-shirt on the middle picture. She also knows how to wear leather jackets and she always looks good with it.
One of my favorite model is Charlotte free. This american tried all bright colors on her hair but her pink hair is probably the one that made people recognized her. She wear most of the time band or graphic tees with whether black jeans or shorts. She also likes to wear psychedelic piece of clothing like shirts or leggings. The bag she's wearing in two of the picture show her ''weird'' grunge fashion style that i love.
