Different Fashion Styles: Bohemian

My third article is about 10 different style we can find in fashion

Bohemian

The bohemian style originally came from the Gypsy, Spanish and Indian. It was a really popular style in the sixties with the hippies. Today, the bohemian look is for the free spirits.

The popular style icon i chose for the boho style is Talitha Getty. She was a model and an actress of the late 1960's. Talitha married in 1966 John Paul Getty and she died of an overdose at the age of 30. Yves Saint Laurent and Diane von Furstenberg both honored her style.

In a bohemian wardrobe you find things like tunic, djellaba, caftan, Indian dress and blouse, poncho, fur vest, maxi dress and skirt, eph leg jeans, crochet, round or heart shape sunglasses. Isabel Lucas, who is an Australian actress, represent well the style with her pearl head bands, her maxi dresses and skirts and her tan skin. She likes to wear vintage clothes and add a few Indian pieces to her outfits like the orange suede dress and the Indian brown jacket we can find in the pictures to the left.

To have the perfect boho look, you need to have a natural or tan skin, little or no makeup, wavy and messy hair, braids, head bands or flowers in the hair. Nicole Richie is a celebrity who adopted a bohemian look. She usually put her hair down and she wear a lot of maxi bohemian style dresses. She also often wear big round sunglasses.
