Rihanna For River Island

Rihanna did her very first fashion show at London Fashion Week. She created a line for the British high street fashion brand River Island. The clothes were inspired by her own style and her mood. It's urban, chic, casual and bold. I will present my favorite looks of this collection.

The first outfit that i liked in the Rihanna for River Island collection was this one. I like it because there's a lot of things that are different than other dresses. For example, the high-low cut is very original at the back. I have not seen a high-low skirt or dress like that yet and i think it's a very pretty cut. The other thing that is different is the straps. We can't really see it on the picture but they make a V and it's a cute detail. I also love the print which is original white flowers. We found this print on other pieces of clothing like another dress, a pair of trousers, a blouse, shirts and a little top. This dress is very feminine and perfect for summer. It can be chic and also casual. It depends on the accessories. There was another version of this dress in red that was so pretty but this black and white dress is more my style.

Here's two other of my favorite looks for this collection. The first one is probably my favorite of all. It's very urban and stylish. The skirt is just wonderful. The denim jacket is part of the skirt because it's sewn to the denim skirt. I think it's very intelligent and original. I really like the color of the jacket, i don't know why. Some people may find the top too revealing but i don't think so. because the skirt is high waisted so it's not that bad. Another time, we can't really see it on the picture but there's a body chain. It starts like a necklace and then there's a vertical chain that passes over the bust and then it separates in a V at the waist. It adds an interesting touch. The shoes are also perfect for this outfit. The second look is very hipster. When i think of yellow and black i immediately think of bees so i never wear these color together but this look don't make me think of a bee at all. Turtleneck are a big trend this season and when it's in a cropped top and paired with a high waisted bottom, it's even better. The black denim jacket complete well the look.
