London Fashion Week 2013: Erdem

Erdem Moralıoğlu is an canadian british-turkish fashion designer born in Montreal. He lauched his own line in 2005. For London fashion week, there were only sweet and ladylike dresses in color like pale orange, lemon and pink. A lot of people agreed that it was one of his best collection.

 

I will show three of my favorite look of this catwalk. I'm in love with the dress of the look 33. The color may seem old and a little bit grandma but i think that it's elegant, chic and pretty. I particularly love the pattern we find at the end of the dress and at the top. If we look closer, we can see that there's some places in the pattern that are transparent. I also like the sheer fabric at the end of the dress. Without it, the gown wouldn't look as pretty as it is. I'm not a fan of the leather jacket only because of the baby blue color. If it would have been black or white it would have been so much prettier but it wouldn't match with the dress. I don't really like the sunglasses. I think it looks like you have alien's eyes, which is not that good! Furthermore it doesn't fit with the style and the color of the dress because the sunglasses are yellow. The shoes are also something i like in the outfit and it could be something i would buy. 

The next looks are the look 24 and 27 of the Erdem spring/summer ready-to-wear collection  at London Fashion Week . I will talk about the first outfit first. I love everything that is sheer since a long time. Dresses and tops are my favorite. So that's not a surprise if i chose this first look among my favorites. I don't think it's too revealing because the sheer fabric goes to the bottom of the knee and it's the perfect length. Also, we may not really see it on the picture because it's too little, but the details of the tissue are amazing. It's little pink and orange stones that form a pretty pattern. The top and the shorts below it are also cute and wearable without the sheer fabric. The second look is very original because of the mix of color and tissue. I love the  blue  turtleneck  lace top that is bellow the green transparent fabric and floral pattern dress. It's fun and not a lot of people will have the courage to wear something like it so it makes this dress more special.
