2013 Paris Fashion Week: Givenchy

Givenchy

One of Riccardo Tisci's big ideas this season was to put the accent on the feminine. The designer created feminine looks and incorporated masculine pieces like big sweaters. I liked this collection, the majority of the looks were appealing to me.

To start, i will present the look 1 and 11 of the Fall 2013 Ready-To-Wear collection of Givenchy. In the first picture, i like two pieces: the shirt and the skirt. The shirt is so original with the mix of the plaid and floral pattern. I never thought that these two patterns can look good together but now i know that they can. Then, the skirt is pretty because it's sheer and i just like transparent fabric. The thing a the waist is pretty in the runway look but i wouldn't wear it in real life. I don't like the shoes we find in this collection. It reminds me of ants and it's not a good thing. The sweater in the second outfit is so cute because of the image of Bambi on it. I wouldn't buy it because the print isn't really appealing to me but i still find it pretty. The thing i like the most in the look is the skirt. As i just said, i like transparent fabric and the fact that the sweater is long and that the skirt comes out of it offers a great look.

The upcoming outfits are the look 35, 36 and 48. They all have a big sweater and then a maxi skirt. In the first one, i like the skirt the most. If you pay attention, there's some place in the skirt that are transparent and i find it nice. For the second look, i also like the skirt the most. Sheer fabrics are something i love and i really like when it's wear in a skirt like that. Finally, in the last outfit it's both the shirt and the skirt that i like. The skirt has a bohemian style and the top is more of a edgy style. I think the mix of these styles are great together. Another thing beside the shoes that i didn't like was the hat. They are ugly.
